Children's Hospital Tower Proposal

On January 10, at a public meeting, Children's Hospital displayed plans for a 196 foot tall building topped by a helicopter landing pad.

The building will occupy most of the area between 52nd Street and 53rd Street and between the freeway (24) and the existing outpatient building. Dover Street will be closed off at 53rd.

This building will be directly across a quite narrow 53rd Street from homes that almost all less than 30 feet tall.
